when did you become a fan and why? Fans since AI, we know why you fell in love but what was it specifically? I became a fan on April 25th 2008--newbie Guard scene in Spam reeled me in. How does he do that??!? ;D

I was a fan during AI, albeit a casual one. I voted for him on AI, bought MoaM when it came out, and watched him when he was on TV, but I wasn't "dedicated." On March 22, 2004, my friend and I went to see (along with our mothers... we were only 11) Clay and Kelly in Chicago. I was looking forward to it, but not overly excited. As soon as the lights went down and he began singing Kyrie, I screamed. Starting right then, I was hooked. I bought a poster, tour book, and keychain and proceeded to squee over them all the way home. Right when I got back, I googled him and came across AirplayCentral. I downloaded and watched all the clack I could and joined a couple message boards. The rest, as they say, is history. I don't know exactly what it was that attracted me to him. I was so far away from the stage, but I could still really feel the energy of the place. Of course his voice is, and always has been, beautiful. I guess I really loved his stage presence and sense of humor and I saw him, for the first time, as a really cute guy that night. Then, later on, when I learned more about him, I fell in love with his heart.

Here you go :b
June 11, 2006. I was home alone with my mom. We saw the finale of 'that funny singing show from the US.' Then there was this guy, who apparently thought he was as good as this 'Clay Aiken.' Earlier in this show they had mentioned Clay, but always in the same sentence; "He may not look good, but he can sing." So I kinda thought we had a living Quasimodo. So this Michael guy sang, and suddenly a man came out. He was sooooo handsome, and he had a voice like an angel. He blew me away, and I couldn't say a word. I looked at my mom, and she said; "Wow. This guy is AMAZING!" We had taped the finale, and I seriously saw it so many time, that I broke the tape :b
Well, the summer holiday came, and I forgot everything about Clay. Then in September my sister bought a computer and she downloaded some songs, and one of the songs was Clay's song. I remembered his voice, and googled him. I found so much information, and watched lots of clack. I bought his CD's over the internet, and since that day I've been addicted to him.
I became a fan, because he made me love music. I never really listened to music before I heard him.

March 8, 2008-newbie I dont really know how this all happened but it did. I remember crying a few days after my "boyfriend," who was really just a friend, had told one of his other friends who i dont talk to, to break up with me a week before my birthday. whowh...that was long. So, I remember crying a few days and just being very emotional. I didnt really want to know anything. but a few days before my birthday, I was looking something up on youtube and I stubbled apon a video of Clay singing "Iris" during the JBT in Indianapolis. I dont know why I fell in love with him when I saw that, but I must say he had me. It was infact the best birthday present i've gotten. I've been a fan of him ever since. It's funny, because when Clay came out I had a friend ask me why I liked loved him so much. I had her on the phone for an hour just giving her the basics. There are so many thing of why I love this man. He's perfect in everyway to me. (and he's gorgous in every meaning of the word...) He got me through alot of hard times i've been having at home and at school. And If i ever get the chance to meet him, i want to thank him, give him a BIG hug, and tell him how much he means to me.
